We regularly appear in the Local Court on defended hearings for clients charged with a wide range of offences. We also assist clients in more complex criminal proceedings. In recent years we have developed a strong practice assisting accused clients in alleged Domestic Violence offences and AVO proceedings with great success. In particular this experience is critical in our family law practice where highly contested parenting proceedings. FAMILY LAW

We have extensive experience in Family Law litigation in both parenting and property matters, and in particular complex and difficult family law disputes against dubiously self proclaimed ‘leaders’ in the Family Law jurisdiction. We support our clients through what is a difficult process and with our deep understanding of the dynamics of this jurisdiction we aim to steer all our client’s matters where possible to prompt resolution by agreement. Where this is not possible, we assist clients achieve the best possible outcomes through judicial determination.

WILLS & ESTATES, FAMILY PROVISION CLAIMS & LITIGATION

We act for clients involved in will disputes. Often it is possible to resolve estate disputes without legal action. However in some cases, commencing or defending a claim is the only option. We can assist you with making a will, powers of attorney, enduring guardianship, probate, contesting a will, family provision claims and guardianship disputes.

FEES AND RATES

We are experienced lawyers, and charge accordingly at an hourly rate. In some instances, other fee arrangements can be negotiated. We discuss fees with our clients on a case by case basis. In some cases packages and more cost effective options may exist which we can discuss with you in person.
